Music Inspired by World Travels and Friendship

​Anna and Patti met in India in 1978 after making separate journeys from California via boat, train, bus and plane through Europe, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and finally meeting in India. They studied music (Patti :violin, Anna :tabla) in New Delhi with Joi Srivastava, a well-known North Indian violinist in the Hindustani Classical Music tradition. This collection of original music, combining Anna’s beautiful piano compositions and Patti’s brilliant violin improvisations, is a reflection of their travels and decades of friendship
